Western blot. Left Lane -- Cultured normal mouse embryo fibroblasts were transfected with a plasmid containing the SAP1a cDNA fused with a c-myc epitope tag at its C-terminus. Lane 1, 30 µg protein; lane 2, 20 µg protein; lane 3, 10 µg protein; lane 4, 5 µg protein.
Adult rat brain membrane (RBM) and transfected cell immunoblot: extracts of RBM and of COS-1 cells transfected with GFP- HCN1, GFP-HCN2 or Kv2.1 plasmids and probed with N71/37 (left), K89/34 (middle) or a control (right) TC supe.Immunoblots on brain membranes prepared from whole rat (RBM) and mouse (MBM) brain, and from human cerebral cortex [HBM(Cx)] and hippocampus [HBM(H)].
Immunofluorescence staining of adult dorsal root ganglion sections from TrpV1 WT and -/- mice with N221/17 TC supe (red), Kv1.2 rabbit polyclonal (green) and Hoechst nuclear stain (blue). Images courtesy of Matthew Rasband (Baylor College of Medicine).Adult rat spinal cord dorsal horn immunohistochemistry.
Array tomography immunofluorescence of an LRWhite-embedded 70 nm section from adult mouse cortex with L124/59 (magenta), rabbit mAb PSD-95 (Cell Signaling 3450, green) and Hoechst nuclear stain (blue). The insert shows three consecutive sections through the synapse that is marked with a white box.Adult rat hippocampus immunohistochemistry.

Adult rat hippocampus immunohistochemistry.Immunoblot versus adult rat brain membranes (RBM), and adult mouse hippocampal membranes (MHM) from SAP102 knockout and WT mice (mouse samples courtesy of Dr. Richard Huganir).
Immunofluorescence of human frontal cortex with K28/74 (green), rabbit Synapsin-1 (red) and DAPI (blue). Twelve images from 100 nm sections (left) were volume-reconstructed via array tomography (31.5 x 34 x 1.2 mm, right). Image courtesy of Nancy O’Rourke, Nafisa Ghori and Stephen Smith (Stanford).Western blot showing specific labeling of PSD95 (Cat. 75-348) in wild type (WT) and Mir324 KO mouse hippocampus. Image from publication CC-BY-4.0. PMID:38082035
Immunofluoresence of COS7 cells expressing mScarlet3 using chicken anti-mScarlet3 antibody (green) and showing mScarlet3 autofluorescence (red). The cells were mounted with ICT's Fluoroshield with DAPI mounting medium (Cat. AR-6501). The DAPI nuclear stain (blue) shows the nuclei of both transfected and untransfected cells. The staining revealed a complete overlap between the signal from chicken anti-mScarlet3 antibody and mScarlet3 autofluoresence in transfected cells.Western blotting of mock or mScarlet3 transfected COS-7 cell lysates with chicken anti-mScarlet3 antibody (0.5 ug/ml) and detected with anti-chicken HRP. Chicken anti-mScarlet3 recognizes exogenous mScarlet3 in COS-7 cells.

Western blot. Right Lane -- Cultured HEK cells were transfected with a plasmid containing the RDF1 cDNA fused with a FLAG epitope tag at its C-terminus. Left Lane -- Cultured HEK cells with an empty plasmid vector. 25 μg of protein loaded in each lane.
Immunofluorescence staining of sections from adult GluN2C/NR2C wild-type (WT) and knockout (KO) mouse cerebellum with N422/18 (GluN2C/NR2C, red) and L106/83 (Gephyrin, green) TC supe. Tissue courtesy of Sharon Swanger and Stephen Traynelis (Emory).Adult rat brain membrane immunoblot.

Array tomography immunofluorescence of Lowicryl-embedded sections from adult mouse cerebellum with L109/57 (red) and DAPI (blue). Left panel is a single 70 nm section imaged with a 20X objective, with a scale bar of 50 µm. Right panel is a MAX projection of 10 serial 70 nm sections imaged with a 63X objective, with a scale bar of 20 µm. Images courtesy of Kristina Micheva (Stanford).Adult rat hippocampus immunohistochemistry.
Immunofluorescence of COS7 cells expressing mKate2 or mRuby using chicken anti-mKate2 antibody (green) and mKate2 autofluorescence (red), showing complete overlap in the signal in transfected cells. The cells were stained using goat anti-chicken IgY FITC secondary antibody (Cat. 80-1000-FITC) and mounted with Fluoroshield with DAPI mounting medium (Cat. AR-6501). The DAPI nuclear stain (blue) shows the nuclei of both transfected and untransfected cells. Western blotting of mock, mKate2, or mRuby transfected COS-7 cell lysates with Aves Labs chicken anti-mKate2 antibody (0.2 ug/ml) and detected with anti-chicken HRP secondary antibody (Cat. 80-1000-HRP). Aves Labs chicken anti-mKate2 recognizes exogenous mKate2 as well as mRuby, another fluorescent protein derived from Entacmaea quadricolor in COS-7 cells.

Immunostaining of HeLa cells showing specific labeling of Ki-67 (Cat. Ki67-0100, 1:2000, red) present in cytoplasmic microtubules. Additional immunostaining done with β-tubulin in green and nuclear staining with DAPI (blue). During cell cycle Ki-67 protein is predominantly expressed in the nucleoli of cells during mitosis and interphase, and is not present during quiescence.Western blotting of HeLa cell lysate (10 µg/lane) with Ki-67 antibody at 2 µg/mL dilution and detected with anti-chicken HRP.
