Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job description: The QA Manager will be responsible for maintaining and advancing an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with FDA 21CFR820 and ISO 13485 standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead internal audits and host external audits (BSI, FDA…)
  • Review and approve batch records and production records for conformance to established specifications.
  • Maintain document control management practices (master document list, new document implementation, document change control…)
  • Maintain equipment management practices (validations, internal/external calibration…)
  • Manage non-conformances, CAPAs, complaints
  • Manage design control and development activities (review and approve validation and verification plans…)
  • Ensure all regulatory licenses and certifications are current
  • Advise (and when appropriate) coach and train personnel to ensure all activities are in compliance with our Quality Management System.

Requirements:

  • A./B.S. degree.
  • At least 2 years quality assurance experience in a cGMP/ISO manufacturing environment (preferably in life-science field).
  • Knowledgeable on current FDA and ISO standards and regulations
  • Lead auditor certified (preferred).

Skills:

  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Self-assured professional who is capable of providing institutional leadership in the area of quality assurance.
  • Must be approachable and willing to provide assistance/consultation in: resolving non-conformances, planning validations and verifications, product/service development.
  • Have continuous improvement mindset and desire to improve current processes

Job title: Manufacturing Technician

Description:

In the years since our founding AI has expanded its offerings to include contract manufacturing of in vitro diagnostics and scientific reagents, a comprehensive catalog of neuroscience and cell biology antibodies, and a wide array of custom antibody services.

Our manufacturing group is a partner to some of the world’s leading life sciences companies while our antibody group provides custom antibody products and services for a diverse clientele including pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as academic researchers.

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our growing contract manufacturing group. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a production environment labeling, packaging, and preparing product for shipment. Experience with inventory cycle counts and cGMP production would be a plus. The role will also involve assisting in the formulation and production of finished product including buffers and other Life Sciences reagents.

Job Description: The Product Manager- Antibody Reagents will oversee continued production and quality control of our current antibody product catalog and also lead antibody development efforts to create new antibody products for our catalog. These new products will serve customer needs in the areas of neuroscience and cell biology research and be developed across a variety of antibody development platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, and with antibody-based assays (Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry…). Demonstrated expertise in IHC is a must-have requirement for this position. While a management role, this position will involve significant benchwork and the successful candidate will be a practicing scientist who enjoys working and leading from the bench.

The use of antibodies as research tools, therapeutic drugs, and as capture reagents in diagnostic assays continues to grow. This position represents a very exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our antibody product portfolio and gain expertise in antibody development technologies. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to antibody development efforts within our antibody services group.

Requirements:

  • BS in life sciences with at least 5 years post-grad experience at the bench with relevant techniques or PhD/MSc with at least 1-3 years (respectively) post-grad experience at the bench with relevant techniques.
  • Experience leading and taking ownership of projects
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise with relevant techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise with IHC, preferably with rodent brain
  • Enthusiasm for taking on new projects, engaging with customers, and continuing to learn and grow as a scientist
  • Great attitude and desire to learn and help grow company

Preferred experience: Cell culture and molecular biology experience with additional experience performing antibody-based assays (Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry…). Previous experience working under a Quality Management System would be an additional asset.
