  • We've added 5 more targets to our recombinant chicken chimeric antibody family. Our recombinant chimeric chicken antibodies link the antigen-binding variable region from our highly-cited NeuroMab mouse monoclonal antibodies to the constant region of chicken IgY. Featuring our Anti-Ubiquitin Ser65 Phospho Antibody (produced in collaboration with the Michael J Fox Foundation)

Immunofluorescent staining for detection of phospho-Ubiquitin Ser65 in WT and PINK1-KO HeLa cells using our anti-phospho-Ubiquitin recombinant chicken monoclonal antibody [30H3K1]. Cells were treated with 20 µM carbonyl 3-chlorophenylhydrazone (CCCP) for 4 h, then fixed by adding 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 min. The anti-phospho-Ubiquitin Ser65 antibody was added in a solution of 1% BSA in PBS for 60 min at a concentration of 1 μg/mL.   • Building on the success of our first guinea pig recombinant chimeric antibody (anti-RBPMS), we're excited to release three additional guinea pig chimerics. These recombinant monoclonal antibodies are genetically engineered by combining the variable binding domain from our highly-validated NeuroMab mouse monoclonal antibodies with the Fc region of guinea pig IgG. Anti-Phospho-GUK1 (Tyr74) Antibody - another success story for our custom phospho antibody service!

  • Our scientists designed and produced a phosphospecific GUK1 tyr74 antibody for a research team at the Haigis Lab at the Blavatnik Institute at Harvard Medical School! Using this custom antibody, the team demonstrated GUK1's essential role in maintaining the guanine nucleotide pool in lung cancer cells - revealing that its activation creates a metabolic vulnerability that can be targeted to inhibit tumor growth. 

Western blot detection of GUK1 phosphorylated at Tyr74 using anti-pGUK1 (Tyr74) rabbit polyclonal antibody. Whole cell lysates from HEK293T cells co-expressing EML4-ALK with FLAG-GUK1-WT or FLAG-GUK1-Y74F were analyzed by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting. The pGUK1-Y74 antibody (1:200) specifically detects GUK1-WT (~25 kDa) but not the Y74F mutant. New EU Formulations of IHC Buffers and Retrievers!

  • We offer a full line of IHC buffers and antigen retrievers, and we're excited to introduce EU compliant versions of select products.

Featuring our Citrate Buffer, 10X, pH 6.0 MIT-HCl. This buffer is intended for heat-induced antigen retrieval on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections prior to application of antibodies; the preservative in this formulation meets EU requirements.
