At Antibodies Inc, our mission has always been to provide researchers with the highly validated, reliable tools necessary to drive scientific discovery forward. Today, we are excited to announce the addition of new research areas to our neuroscience and cancer antibody catalog.
Four new product lines: Diabetes and Obesity, Immunodeficiency and the Complement System, Kidney Disease, and Allergy Research.
These products were originally generated as specialized monoclonal antibodies by BioPorto. By integrating these highly characterized, affinity-purified mouse and human monoclonal antibodies, we are broadening our ability to power your next discovery.
Here is a closer look at the four new core areas now available at Antibodies Inc:
-
Diabetes and Obesity: Advanced Gut Hormone Research
Research in metabolic health, insulin regulation, and obesity therapeutics is a fast-growing field. To support researchers working on the cutting edge of metabolic disease and drug development, we are introducing a line of gut hormone antibodies targeting both appetite-stimulating and appetite-suppressing pathways.
A major highlight of this new category is our range of GLP-1 (Glucagon-Like Peptide-1) antibodies. These clones target several distinct epitopes of GLP-1. Whether you are investigating the mechanisms of action behind therapeutic GLP-1 receptor agonists or exploring endogenous metabolic pathways, these highly characterized antibodies provide the precise epitope mapping and binding performance your assays require.Anti-GLP-1 (7-37) and GLP-1 (7-36) amide (N-term) Antibody

Immunodeficiency & The Complement System
Understanding how the body defends itself against pathogens requires deep insight into innate immunity. We are proud to expand our immunology catalog into the complex mechanics of the complement system.
Our new portfolio features antibodies designed to accurately target pivotal components across all three primary pathways of complement activation:- The Classical Pathway: The classical pathway is typically activated by antibody-antigen complexes binding to the C1 complex. View our anti-Pro/Actived Complement C1s Antibodies.
- The MBL (Mannose-Binding Lectin) Pathway: The lectin pathway is triggered when pattern-recognition molecules bind to specific carbohydrate structures on microbial surfaces. Our new portfolio contains multiple Ficolin antibodies.
- The Alternative Pathway and Terminal Cascade: The alternative pathway acts as an amplification loop for the complement cascade and can undergo spontaneous activation. Antibodies focusing on this pathway include: Complement factor H, C3/C3b/C3c, and C5b9
- These tools allow researchers to break down downstream immune responses, discover biomolecular drivers of immunodeficiency, and support the development of diagnostic assays focused on inflammatory and infectious disease states.
Complement C5b9 is one of our top selling products in this category:
Immunohistochemistry detection of Complement C5b-9 in human tonsil tissue using Anti-Complement C5b-9 Antibody. Tissue was mounted and pariffin fixed. Heat induced antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer, heated, and then blocked. Vascular endothelia and dendritic cells of germinal center have strong and intensive label.
-
Kidney Function & Ion Transport: Targeting the Epithelial Sodium Channel (ENaC)
While our existing renal portfolio has long provided trusted tools for studying water and ion homeostasis—including aquaporin, actinin, CaSR, NCC, and vasopressin antibodies—this new acquisition allows us to dive even deeper into the mechanics of blood pressure regulation and fluid balance. We are excited to introduce a highly specific antibody targeting SCNN1G (the Gamma-Subunit of the Epithelial Sodium Channel, or ENaC).
Located primarily in the apical membrane of epithelial cells in the distal nephron, ENaC plays a critical role in mediating luminal sodium reabsorption. The Anti-SCNN1G clone will support researchers investigating:- Aldosterone-mediated sodium transport and its upstream regulatory pathways.
- The pathophysiology of hypertension, including genetic disorders like Liddle syndrome.
- Fluid balance mechanisms within the cortical collecting duct.
By pairing these new SCNN1G antibodies with our established renal markers, you can now build a more complete, high-resolution picture of transport proteins and channel regulation across the entire nephron.

Allergy Research: High-Purity HE1 IgE
Finally, we focus on allergy and hypersensitivity validation with a trio of HE1 IgE antibodies. We are now carrying the HE1 IgE clone - an affinity-purified, fully human IgE antibody with kappa light chains.
Unlike traditional serum-derived IgE, the HE1 clone is produced entirely in vitro from a monoclonal hybridoma. This manufacturing process minimizes the risk of contamination from other immunoglobulin isotypes (such as IgG or IgM) and guarantees batch-to-batch reproducibility. Use it as a baseline standard for developing allergen-specific assays, strip testing, and structural IgE research.Anti-Human IgE (non-immune) Antibody (HE1)

Lane 1 shows molecular weight markers, lane 2 DIA HE1 purified human IgE 185 kDa, lane 3 shows IgE, purified from human serum from a myeloma patient.
