Our Anti-Synaptotagmin-12 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N277/7. It detects mouse and rat Synaptotagmin-12, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC.
Synaptotagmins are a family of calcium sensing, membrane trafficking proteins. 17 different synaptotagmins have been identified in mammals. Synaptotagmin 12 differs from classical synaptotagmins in that it does not bind Ca(2+). In synaptic vesicles, synaptotagmin-12 forms a complex with synaptotagmin-1 that prevents synaptotagmin-1 from interacting with SNARE complexes (Maximov A. et al., 2007).

Aliquot and store at ≤ -20°C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography and conjugation of purified mAb. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
