Bulk Order Anti-Synaptotagmin-12 Antibody FL650 Conjugate
Synaptotagmins are a family of calcium sensing, membrane trafficking proteins. 17 different synaptotagmins have been identified in mammals. Synaptotagmin 12 differs from classical synaptotagmins in that it does not bind Ca(2+). In synaptic vesicles, synaptotagmin-12 forms a complex with synaptotagmin-1 that prevents synaptotagmin-1 from interacting with SNARE complexes (Maximov A. et al., 2007).
Purified by Protein A chromatography
45 kDa (plus others)
Fusion protein amino acids 168-255 (cytoplasmic C2A domain) of mouse Synaptotagmin-12 (also known as Syt12, Synaptotagmin XII, SytXII, Synaptotagmin-related gene 1 protein, Srg1 and Sytr1, accession number Q920N7) produced recombinantly in E. Coli
Aliquot and store at ≤ -20°C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography and conjugation of purified mAb. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
PBS with 0.09% azide
FL650 Ex: 655 nm, Em: 676 nm
Does not cross-react with Synaptotagmin-6 (or other Synaptotagmins)
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested on cells overexpressing target protein and confirmed to give the expected staining pattern.
These antibodies are to be used as research laboratory reagents and are not for use as diagnostic or therapeutic reagents in humans.
