Target Description:

This is pan and reacts with PTPRF, Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type D (PTPRD) or Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type S (PTPRS) which are all members of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. These proteins are signaling molecules that regulate a variety of cellular processes including cell growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.

Immunogen:

Fusion protein amino acids 1315-1607 (cytoplasmic C-terminus) of human LAR (also known as Leukocyte antigen related, Leukocyte common antigen-related phosphatase, Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase F and PTPRF, accession number P10586); Rat: 97% identity (286/293 amino acids identical); Mouse: 97% identity (285/293 amino acids identical); Greater than 80% identity with PTPRD and PTPRS; Greater than 50% identity with PTPRM and PTPRK

This antibody recognizes a single immunoreactive band of expected molecular weight when used to probe brain lysate.

Immunocytochemistry:

This antibody shows the expected staining pattern when used to stain COS cells overexpressing target.
