The stained sections were mounted with Antibodies Incorporated Fluoroshield with DAPI and DABCO mounting medium (Cat. AR-6505). DAPI nuclear stain (blue) shows cell nuclei.

$Western blotting of rat brain membrane fraction with anti-GluN2B/NR2B glutamate receptor mouse mAb (Cat. 75-097) and Aves Labs anti-GluN2B/NR2B recombinant chicken mAb (Cat. 78-097) antibodies. The mouse mAb and chicken mAb were detected with anti-mouse-HRP and anti-chicken-HRP (Cat. 80-1000-HRP), respectively. Aves Labs Recombinant Chicken anti-GluN2B/NR2B mAb recognizes endogenous NR2B with similar sensitivity as the anti-GluN2B/NR2B mouse mAb in the rat brain membrane at ~166 kDa.$
