Dynein intermediate chain 1, axonemal or DNAIC1 is encoded by the gene DNAI1 and is a member of the dynein intermediate chain family. DNAI1 is an intermediate chain dynein in respiratory cilia. This protein has varied functions including development of respiratory function, motility of spermatozoa, and asymmetrical organization of the viscera during embryogenesis. Diseases associated with DNAI1 include Ciliary Dyskinesia and Kartagener Syndrome.
Synthetic peptide amino acids 22-41 (RGTRKRDEDSGTEVGEGTDE) of human DNAIC1 (also known as Axonemal dynein intermediate chain 1 and Dnai1, accession number Q9UI46); Mouse: 85% identity (17/20 amino acids identical); Rat: 75% identity (15/20 amino acids identical) Hybridoma kindly donated by Larry Ostrowski, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. This NeuroMab antibody is considered "Restricted" and is therefore not available for commercial re-distribution on a for-profit basis.
Store at ≤ -20 C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8 C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
