Product Details
KCNU1/Slo3 pH-sensitive maxi-K+ channel
Potassium calcium-activated channel subfamily U member 1 is encoded by the gene KCNU1. KCNU1 is a member of the potassium channel family, calcium-activated (TC 1.A.1.3) subfamily, KCa5.1/KCNU1 sub-subfamily. KCNU1 is a testis-specific potassium channel activated by both intracellular pH and membrane voltage that mediates transport of K+. KCNU1 is expressed in the testis. Diseases associated with KCNU1 include Leukodystrophy, Hypomyelinating, 3 and Coffin-Siris Syndrome 1.
