Protocadherin Gamma Subfamily C, 4 is encoded by the gene PCDHGC4. PCDHGC4 is a member of the protocadherin gamma gene cluster. PCDHGC4 is a neural cadherin-like cell adhesion protein that most likely plays a critical role in the establishment and function of specific cell-cell connections in the brain. PCDHGC4 is expressed in the nervous system, skin, and eye. No diseases were found to be associated with PCDHGC4.
