Product Details
PEX7
Peroxisomal Biogenesis Factor 7 is encoded by the gene PEX7. PEX7 is a member of the WD repeat peroxin-7 family. PEX7 binds to the N-terminal PTS2-type peroxisomal targeting signal and plays an essential role in peroxisomal protein import. PEX7 is ubiquitously expressed with the highest levels in the pancreas, skeletal muscle, and heart. Diseases associated with PEX7 include Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata, Type 1 and Peroxisome Biogenesis Disorder 9B.
