Human Mouse Rat

Olfactomedin 1 is encoded by the gene OLFM1. While the exact function of OLFM1 is unknown, its abundant expression in the brain suggests it may have an essential role in nerve tissue. Diseases associated with OLFM1 include Ectopic Pregnancy and Neuroblastoma.
Synthetic peptide of amino acids 131-150 of human Pancortin (GLESKFKQVEE SHKQHLARQ, also known as Noelin, Neuronal olfactomedin-related ER localized protein, Noe1, Noel, Noel1, Olfactomedin-1, Olfm1, 1B426B and D2Sut1e, accession number Q99784); Mouse: 95% identity (19/20 amino acids); Rat: 95% identity (19/20 amino acids); 100% identity with isoforms Pancortin-2,Pancortin-3 and Pancortin-4; 50% identity with Noelin-2 or Noelin-3

Antibody Validation and Application Notes
This antibody has been validated using the following assays:
This antibody has been knockout-validated in mouse brain (by Western blot and/or immunohistochemistry).
This antibody recognizes a single immunoreactive band of expected molecular weight when used to probe brain lysate.
This antibody shows the expected staining pattern when used to stain COS cells overexpressing target.
55-70 kDa (Pancortin-1 and -3),15-20 kDa (Pancortin-2 and -4)
The following quality control assay is performed on each new lot of this antibody to ensure it meets designated performance requirements.
Each new lot of this antibody is tested to confirm that it recognizes a single immunoreactive band of expected molecular weight when used to probe brain lysate.
