Target Description:

QKI5, QKI6, QKI7 and QKI7b are alternatively spliced mRNAs from the QKI1 gene. The proteins are RNA-binding and have roles in the regulation of splicing, export and stability of mRNA. They are involved in myelinization.

Fusion protein amino acids 1-341 (full-length) of human QKI-5 (also known as Protein quaking, HqkI and Hqk, accession number Q96PU8); Mouse: 100% identity (341/341 amino acids identical); Rat: 99% identity (339/341 amino acids identical); Greater than 90% identity with QKI-6, QKI-7 and QKI-7b
