Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 4 or LRP4 is encoded by the gene LRP4. And is a member of the low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein family. Proteins in this family function in a wide range of physiological processes, including the regulation of lipid metabolism, protection against atherosclerosis, neurodevelopment. LRP4 may be involved in the negative regulation of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway. LRP4 is expressed in bone and several regions of the brain. Mutations in this gene are associated with Cenani-Lenz syndrome.
Fusion protein amino acids 1747-1905 (cytoplasmic C-terminus) of mouse LRP4 (also known as Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 4, LDLR dan, Multiple epidermal growth factor-like domains 7, MEGF7 and KIAA0816, accession number Q8VI56); Rat: 96% identity (154/159 amino acids identical); Human: 94% identity (151/159 amino acids identical)
