Each vial can be diluted 100X to 2000X depending upon the final working concentration of the dye in the experiment. Typical working concentrations for Lipofluor™ TR-606-LD are DMN-LD at 2μM -10 μM. This concentration was suitable for live cell imaging. It yielded high-quality images of lipid droplets with no evidence of toxicity, demonstrating the efficacy of DMN-LD at this concentration for visualizing lipid droplets in cellular contexts.

If protected from light, the liquid 10 mM stock solution vials are stable for 12 months from date of receipt, at 2-8°C. A vial should be diluted immediately prior to use and should be used within 24 hours for best results.
The liquid stock solution vials can be stored up to 12 months from date of receipt at 2-8°C, properly sealed and protected from light. Working solutions should be used within 24 hours and not stored for later use.
