G-protein coupled receptor kinase interacting ArfGAP 1 is encoded by the gene GIT1. GIT1 is a member of the GIT protein family. GIT1 is a GTPase-activating protein for the ADP ribosylation factor family. GIT1 is expressed in numerous tissues with the highest levels in the testis. Diseases associated with GIT1 include Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder.
Fusion protein amino acids 375-770 (C-terminus) of rat GIT1(also known as G protein-coupled receptor kinase-interactor 1, GRK-interacting protein 1, Cool-associated and tyrosinephosphorylated protein 1 and Cat-1, accession number Q9Z272); Human: 93% identity (372/396 amino acids identical); Mouse: 97% identity (385/396 amino acids identical) ; ~50% identity with GIT2
No cross-reactivity against GIT2

Quality Control
The following quality control assay is performed on each new lot of this antibody to ensure it meets designated performance requirements.
Each new lot of this antibody is tested to confirm that it recognizes a single immunoreactive band of expected molecular weight when used to probe brain lysate.
