Our Anti-TrpC1 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone 1F1. It is KO validated, detects human, mouse, and rat TrpC1, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ICC.
Short transient receptor potential channel 1 or TrpC1 is encoded by the gene TRPC1.TrpC1 belongs to the transient receptor family, a group of membrane bound ion channels that have a relatively non-selective permeability to cations, including sodium, calcium and magnesium. TrpC1 expression seems to be ubiquitous, and is widely expressed in throughout the brain.
Purified by Protein A chromatography
Fusion protein amino acids 27-306 (cytoplasmic N-terminus) of human TRPC1 (accession number P48995) produced recombinantly in E. Coli.
Human, Mouse, Rat
Aliquot and store at ≤ -20°C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography and conjugation of purified mAb. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
PBS with 0.09% azide
FL594 Ex: 594 nm, Em: 615 nm
Does not cross-react with TRPC4 (based on KO validation results)
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested by western blot on rat whole brain lysate and confirmed to stain the expected molecular weight band.
These antibodies are to be used as research laboratory reagents and are not for use as diagnostic or therapeutic reagents in humans.
