Immunoblot against extracts of COS cells transiently transfected with untagged TRAK1, GFP-tagged TRAK2 or untagged Kv2.1 plasmid probed with N390/43 (left) or N52A/42 (right) TC supe.
Bulk Order Anti-TRAK2 Antibody
Trafficking kinesin-binding protein 2 or O-Linked N-Acetylglucosamine Transferase Interacting Protein 98 is encoded by the gene TRAK2. TRAK2 is involved in mitochondrial motility and regulation of endosome-to-lysosome trafficking and preferentially binds dynein. TRAK2 is widely expressed in tissues. Diseases associated with this gene include Juvenile Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease.
Purified by Protein A chromatography
ICC, IHC, WB
TRAK2 ALS2CR3 KIAA0549
Fusion protein amino acids 757-914 (C-terminus) of human TRAK2 (accession number O60296) produced recombinantly in E. Coli
Aliquot and store at ≤ -20°C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
10 mM Tris, 50 mM Sodium Chloride, 0.065% Sodium Azide pH 7.125
Does not cross-react with TRAK1
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested by western blot on rat whole brain lysate and confirmed to stain the expected molecular weight band.
These antibodies are to be used as research laboratory reagents and are not for use as diagnostic or therapeutic reagents in humans.
