Stonin-2 (Stoned B)
Stonin-2 or Stoned B Homolog 2 is encoded by the gene STON2. Stonin 2 is membrane bound protein that is involved in the regulation of endocytotic complexes and synaptic vesicle recycling. Stonin2 interacts with synaptotagmin to facilitate uncoating of clathrin-coated vesicles Ref:Walther, K., et al. (2001) V. EMBO Rep. Stonin2 is expressed ubiquitously in tissues.

STON2 STN2 STNB
Fusion protein amino acids 1-555 (N-terminus) of human Stonin-2 (also known as Stoned B, STON2, STN2 and STNB, accession number Q8WXE9); Mouse: 86% identity (480/556 amino acids identical); Rat: 85% identity (474/555 amino acids identical); Greater than 50% identity with Stonin-1 (73/135 amino acids) near Cterminus
Human, Mouse, Rat
Store at ≤ -20 C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8 C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
Does not cross-react with Stonin-1
