Gamma-protocadherins belong to a superfamily of homophilic cell-adhesion proteins. These cell adhesion proteins are thought to be involved in establishing and function of cell-cell connections in brain. These proteins are widely expressed in the nervous system and brain.
Fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 808-931 (C-terminal cytoplasmic constant domain) of mouse Gamma-protocadherin-A1 that is shared by all 22 Gamma-protocadherins (A subfamily amino acids ~807-930, B subfamily amino acids ~789-912 and C subfamily amino acids ~818-941); Human: 99% identity (123/124 amino acids identical)
Store at ≤ -20 C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8 C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
Cross-reacts with all Gamma protocadherin-A, -B and -C proteins
These antibodies are to be used as research laboratory reagents and are not for use as diagnostic or therapeutic reagents in humans.
