Product Details
NSD1
Nuclear Receptor Binding SET Domain Protein 1 is encoded by the gene NSD1. NSD1 is a member of the class V-like SAM-binding methyltransferase superfamily. NSD1 is a histone methyltransferase that is capable of both negatively or positively influencing transcription, depending on the cellular context. NSD1 is expressed in the brain, kidney, spleen, skeletal muscle, thymus, and lung. Diseases associated with NSD1 include Sotos Syndrome 1 and Overgrowth Syndrome.
