Transfected cell immunoblot: extracts of COS cells transiently transfected with HA-tagged NSD1, NSD2, NSD3 or untagged Kv2.1 plasmids and probed with N312/10 (left), 12CA5 (middle) and K89/34 (right).
Bulk Order Anti-NSD1 Antibody
Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase, H3 lysine-36 and H4 lysine-20 specific (EC 184.108.40.206) (Androgen receptor coactivator 267 kDa protein) (Androgen receptor-associated protein of 267 kDa) (H3-K36-HMTase) (H4-K20-HMTase) (Lysine N-methyltransferase 3B) (Nuclear receptor-binding SET domain-containing protein 1) (NR-binding SET domain-containing protein)
Nuclear Receptor Binding SET Domain Protein 1 is encoded by the gene NSD1. NSD1 is a member of the class V-like SAM-binding methyltransferase superfamily. NSD1 is a histone methyltransferase that is capable of both negatively or positively influencing transcription, depending on the cellular context. NSD1 is expressed in the brain, kidney, spleen, skeletal muscle, thymus, and lung. Diseases associated with NSD1 include Sotos Syndrome 1 and Overgrowth Syndrome.
