Anti-Endomorphin-1 (E-1) Antibody
Our Anti-Endomorphin-1 (E-1) rabbit polyclonal primary antibody detects human, mouse, and rat Endomorphin-1 (E-1), and is affinity-purified. It is validated for use in ICC, IHC-Frozen, IHC-Paraffin-embedded.

Immunohistochemical staining in rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG). 4% paraformaldehyde fixed rat brain crystostat sections (10 µm) were incubated overnight at 4°C with Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Endomorphin-1 (5 µg/mL) followed by incubation with FITC conjugated secondary antibody.

Product Details
Endomorphin-1 (E-1)
Endomorphins 1 and 2 are endogenous opioid peptides which have the highest affinity for the mu-opioid receptors. Located in various parts of the brain and interacts with mu-opioid receptors and produces analgesia.

Rabbit
Synthetic human Endomorphin-1 (YPWF) peptide conjugated to BSA. Selectivity towards Endomorphin-1 was achieved by separating fraction of affinity purified antibodies which did not bind to Endomorphin-2.
Human
Human, Mouse, Rat
Spin vial briefly before opening. Reconstitute in 0.05 mL of sterile-filtered PBS (pH 7.4) to achieve an antibody concentration of 1 mg/mL. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. At least 12 months after purchase at 2-8°C (lyophilized formulations). After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C for a higher stability and at 2-8°C with an appropriate antibacterial agent.Avoid freeze-thaw cycles
Lyophilized
Lyophilized with BSA.
IHC: 5-15 µg/mL
ICC: 5-15 µg/mL
ICC: 5-15 µg/mL
Unconjugated
Human; mouse; rat. Endomorphin-1 is highly conserved so cross-reactivity with other species is expected. Cross-reactivity with other opioid peptides is as follows: with Endomorphin-2 <5%; Met-enkephalin <0.03%; with Leu-enkephalin 0.01%; with beta-endorphin<0.1%.
