Primary Antibodies

Primary antibodies are critical research tools for studying specific proteins in cell, tissues and organs to deduce protein biological function or localisation within normal or disease states. Primary antibodies recognise specific antigens within the protein and may be used in assays such as western blotting, immunofluorescence, co-immuno precipitation, ELISA, immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry.

Our brands of highly cited antibodies consist of both polyclonal and monoclonal primary antibodies which are validated in the assays highlighted above. We are committed to addressing the scientific reproducibility crisis through using a variety of techniques to deliver batch consistency – for instance combining rabbit polyclonal serum from sequential immunizations and proving target specificity through knockout validation.

To support your research, especially for multiplexing we are proud to supply primary antibodies from a diverse set of species including chicken, rabbit, and mouse hosts.

Antibodies Inc & NeuroMab Monoclonals

Our portfolio of monoclonal antibodies include the NeuroMab range developed in collaboration with the UC Davis – NIH facility.  These products are the trusted tools of the neuroscience research community as demonstrated through citations.  Furthermore, knockout validation guarantees target specificity whereas production from hybridoma clones provide batch to batch consistency and long-term supply.

Aves Labs - Chicken Polyclonals

Aves Labs is one of the few manufacturers to use chicken eggs due to the process being ethical and animal friendly.  Furthermore, Aves Labs collects about 18 "immune eggs" from each hen, but only use 6 "immune eggs" to prepare a batch of IgY antibody. The remaining 12 "immune eggs" are stored in the refrigerator, as reserve stock.
