Endogenous peroxidase and pseudoperoxidase activity is found in many frozen, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections and cell smears.

- Deparaffinizate the tissue as described in your protocol.
- For paraffin sections add few drops of endogenous peroxidase blocking solution for 10 minutes at room temperature. For frozen sections use Endogenous Peroxidase blocking solution (1:10 diluted in methanol) . Rinse slide with distilled water 3X.
- Proceed with the protocol.
