Anti-CNPase Antibody
Our Anti-2',3'-cyclic-nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase (CNPase) chicken polyclonal primary antibody detects human, mouse, and rat 2',3'-cyclic-nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase (CNPase), and is IgY preparation. It is validated for use in ICC, WB.
Left: Mixed neuron-glial cell cultures stained with chicken anti-CNP (red) and mouse anti-GFAP antibody (M-1375-100) by Immunocytochemistry. The CNP antibody stains strongly in oligodendrocytes, whereas GFAP labels the intermediate filament in astrocytes. Blue: Nuclear DNA stain, which reveals the presence of neurons which do not express either CNP or GFAP. Right: Western Blot analysis of rat brain tissue homogenate with chicken anti-CNP antibody (1:5,000). One specific band at ~48 kDa is detected corresponding to the molecular weight of CNP.

Spin vial briefly before opening. Reconstitute with 50 µL sterile-filtered, ultrapure water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. Store lyophilized antibody at 2-8°C. After reconstitution divide into aliquots and store at -20°C for long-term storage. Store at 2-8°C short-term (up to 4 weeks) with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.
