Our mouse Perlecan monoclonal antibody from Antibodies Incorporated is produced in-house from clone A71. It detects bovine and human Perlecan and is Protein A or Protein G purified. Works in AP, ELISA, IHC, IP, WB.
Perlecan is an extracellular matrix proteoglycan. It has a large core protein of 400-450 kDa and is often produced with heparan sulfate side chains. Perlecan is found in basement membranes where it contributes to the permeability characteristics, serves as a substrate for vascular cells and binds growth factors involved in vascular remodelling.

CSI 001-71 can be used in ELISA. In Western blotting a dilution guideline of 1/100 has proved successful. (1,2) CSI 001-71 can be used in immunostaining of frozen PLP-fixed sections of bovine and human tissues. AP: CSI 001-71 can be used in affinity chromatography to separate recombinant domain I from tissue culture fluid. (1)
