Product Details
Kv1.6 K+ channel
Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily A member 6 or Kv1.6 is encoded by the gene KCNA6. Kv1.6 is a potassium channel subunit is a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, shaker-related subfamily. Potassium channels form homotetrameric and heterotetrameric channels in the membrane with various other related proteins, including KCNA2, KCNA4, KCNA5, KCNA6, KCNA7. Kv1.6 is expressed in brain neurons as well as other cell types in the brain, in cardiac and smooth muscle tissue, ovary and testis.
