Anti-GAD65/67 Antibody FL550 Conjugate (L127/12)
Our Anti-GAD65/67 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone L127/12. It detects human, mouse, and rat GAD65/67, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC.

Product Details
GAD65/67
There are two forms of the enzyme glutamic-acid decarboxylase (GAD), a 65-kDa form (GAD65) and a 67-kDa form (GAD67) which are the result of the expression of different genes. Further splicing of GAD 67 produces one or two smaller variants, including GAD25 and GAD44. GAD67 and GAD65 are expressed in adult brain and the pancreas. The truncated forms GAD25 and GAD44 are expressed during embryonic development. Glutamic acid decarboxylase enzyme functions to catalyze the production of gamma-aminobutyric acid from L-glutamic acid.
