Product Details
L-selectin
L-selection (CD26L) is a cell surface adhesion protein constitutively expressed on all classes of human leukocytes. The L-Selectin glycoprotein is composed of a C-type lectin family domain at the amino terminus, an EGF-like domain, two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences, a transmembrane domain and a short cytoplasmic tail. L-Selectin contains 7 potential N- linked glycosylation sites.
Purified. The L-Selectin-Fc chimera consists of 20-45% carbohydrate by weight.
Block
HEK293
A DNA sequence encoding the signal peptide, pro-peptide and extracellular domain of human L-Selectin (amino acids 1-343) was fused to the Fc region of human IgG1 (amino acids 93-330). The chimeric protein was expressed in modified human 293 cells.
Reconstitute with sterile-filtered phosphate-buffered saline to a concentration of 100 µg/mL. Lyophilized products should be stored at 2 to 8°C. Following reconstitution, short-term storage at 2-8°C is recommended and longer-term storage of aliquots at -18 to -20°C. Repeated freeze thawing is not recommended.
Lyophilized
>95% purity, as determined by SDS-PAGE and visualized by silver stain
When reconstituted in 0.5 mL sterile phosphate-buffered saline, the solution will contain 1% human serum albumin (HSA) and 10% trehalose.
