Our Anti-NGL-2/LRRC4 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N50/36. It is KO validated, detects mouse and rat NGL-2/LRRC4, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC, WB.

Adult rat brain membrane (RBM) and transfected cell immunoblot: extracts of RBM and COS cells transiently transfected with Myc-tagged NGL-1, NGL-2, NGL-3 or untagged Kv2.1 plasmid and probed with N50/36 (left) or K89/41 (right) TC supe.

Target Description

Leucine Rich Repeat Containing 4 is encoded by the gene LRRC4. LRRC4 is a synaptic adhesion protein that regulates the formation of excitatory synapses through the recruitment of pre and postsynaptic proteins. LRRC4 organizes the lamina pathway-specific differentiation of dendrites, and plays an important role in auditory synaptic responses. LRRC4 is expressed in the brain. LRRC4 is significantly downregulated in primary brain tumors.
