Our Anti-Neuroligin-1 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N97A/31. It is KO validated, detects mouse and rat Neuroligin-1, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in IHC, ICC.
Neuroligin 1 is a member of a large family of alternatively sliced proteins located at the post synaptic surface in the central nervous system, and stains as a post synaptic marker. Neuroligin 1 is involved in cell-cell-interactions by binding to neurexin family members and other postsynaptic proteins to localize receptors and channels in the postsynaptic density. Suggested roles for Neuroligin 1 include synapse function and synaptic signal transmission and maintaining synapse integrity. Mutations in Neuroligans have been implicated in autism and other cognitive disorders.
Purified by Protein A chromatography
Fusion protein amino acids 718-843 (intracellular C-terminus) of rat Neuroligin-1 (accession number NP_446320) produced recombinantly in E. Coli
