Anti-Centromere Protein Antibody
Our Anti-Centromere proteins human polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies Incorporated is produced in-house. It detects Centromere proteins, and is antisera. Works in IHC, ICC.
A microscopy image of a cell from BJ hTERT cell line treated with aphidicolin to induce genomic instability. Immunolabeling of the cell positively labelling CREST/Centromere Protein (red, 1:500, Cat No. 15-234) and labelling DNA with DAPI. The anaphase cell has a segregation error which lacks centromeric staining unlike the mass of properly segregating chromosomes. Serum obtained from an autoimmune patient was tested at a series of dilutions by immunocytochemistry on ethanol-fixed Hep2 cells that were in log-phase growth. The staining pattern obtained was consistent with the pattern expected for anti-centromere staining.
These antibodies are to be used as research laboratory reagents and are not for use as diagnostic or therapeutic reagents in humans.
