Transfected cell immunoblot: extracts of COS cells transiently transfected with GFP-tagged Synaptotagmin plasmid and probed with N269/73 (left) and N86/8 (right) TC supe.
Synaptotagmin-10 (Synaptotagmin X) (SytX)
Synaptotagmins are a family of calcium sensing, membrane trafficking proteins. 17 different synaptotagmins have been identified in mammals. Synaptotagmin 10 has been shown to function as the Ca2+-sensor that triggers IGF-1 exocytosis in olfactory bulb neurons (Cao P. et al., 2011).
ICC, IHC, WB
Fusion protein amino acids 248-335 (cytoplasmic C2A domain) of mouse Synaptotagmin-10 (also known as Syt10, Synaptotagmin X and SytX, accession number Q9R0N4); Rat: 100% identity (88/88 amino acids identical); Human: 95% identity (84/88 amino acids identical)Greater than 75% identity with Synaptotagmin-6, Synaptotagmin-9 and Synaptotagmin-3
Store at ≤ -20 C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8 C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
Does not cross-react with Synaptotagmin-6 or Synaptotagmin-3
