Bulk Order Anti-SAPAP2 Antibody
associated protein 2) (PSD-95/SAP90-binding protein 2) (Disks large-associated protein 2,) (Dlgap2) (DAP-2)
SAPAP2 (also known as Disks large-associated protein 2, DAP-2, or DLGAP2) is a member of the SAPAP or DLGAP family of proteins. SAPAP2 is part of the scaffold in neuronal cells of the brain and is a component of the postsynaptic complex. SAPAP2 acts as an adaptor protein that binds synaptic scaffold proteins, cytoskeletal proteins and signaling proteins including PSD-95. Diseases associated with SAPAP2 are autism spectrum disorder and several cancer types.
Fusion protein amino acids 76-244 (N-terminus) of rat SAPAP2 (also known as SAP90/PSD-95-associated protein 2, PSD-95/SAP90-binding protein 2, Disks large-associated protein 2, Dlgap2, DAP-2 and Dap2, accession number P97837)
Human, Mouse, Rat
Store at ≤ -20 C for long term storage. For short term storage, store at 2-8 C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the vial prior to removing the cap.
Each new lot of this antibody is tested to confirm that it shows the expected immunoperoxidase-diaminobenzidine / immunofluorescence staining pattern when used to stain brain sections.
These antibodies are to be used as research laboratory reagents and are not for use as diagnostic or therapeutic reagents in humans.
